Terms of Service

Brand Extractor is an experimental, automated service. By submitting a paid request, you agree to these terms.

1. Service

Brand Extractor provides an automated API that inspects public website markup and styles and returns possible logos, colors, fonts, and related metadata. Results are algorithmic candidates, not verified brand guidelines.

2. Requests and payment

Each protected request displays its current price and payment terms through the x402 protocol before access. Payments are settled using the network and asset shown in that response. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. If a paid request returns a server error without a result, contact the operator with the request ID so the operator can investigate and, where appropriate, issue a discretionary refund.

3. Acceptable use

You may submit only public HTTP or HTTPS URLs. You must not use the service to bypass authentication, access controls, paywalls, robots restrictions, or private networks; probe infrastructure; facilitate abuse; violate law; or infringe another party’s rights. Automated volume that impairs the service may be blocked.

4. Content and intellectual property

You retain rights in the input you provide. Website assets and metadata remain subject to their owners’ rights. Output does not grant permission to use any logo, font, trademark, copyrighted work, or other intellectual property. You are responsible for confirming your right to use extracted candidates.

5. Accuracy and availability

The service is experimental and provided “as is” and “as available.” Results may be incomplete, stale, incorrectly ranked, or unavailable, especially when a site renders content with JavaScript. Do not rely on the service as the sole source for legal, compliance, or brand-identity decisions.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Any aggregate liability relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for the affected requests during the preceding 30 days or US $10. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

7. Changes and suspension

The operator may change, suspend, or discontinue the experimental service or update these terms. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively.
